Please read these terms before using JekyllHub

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JekyllHub at jekyllhub.com (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site immediately.

2. About JekyllHub

JekyllHub is a Jekyll theme discovery platform and marketplace. We list themes created by independent third-party developers as well as premium themes developed and sold directly by JekyllHub.

3. Theme Purchases

JekyllHub offers two types of theme purchases:

Premium themes by JekyllHub (sold directly by JekyllHub):

  • Purchases are processed securely through our payment provider
  • Each theme includes a single-site or extended licence as described on the product page
  • Refund requests within 14 days of purchase will be considered if the theme has a critical defect we cannot resolve
  • Support is provided by JekyllHub via the contact email on the theme page

Third-party themes listed on JekyllHub:

  • The transaction is solely between you and the theme creator
  • JekyllHub is not a party to the transaction and accepts no liability for it
  • Refund and support policies are set entirely by the theme creator
  • Licensing terms vary per theme — always review the licence before purchase

JekyllHub makes no warranty about the fitness, security, or ongoing maintenance of any third-party listed theme.

4. Intellectual Property

All theme previews, descriptions, and associated assets remain the property of their respective creators. The JekyllHub name, logo, and site design are owned by JekyllHub.

You may not:

  • Scrape or reproduce theme listings for commercial purposes
  • Misrepresent a theme’s origin or authorship
  • Use the JekyllHub name or logo without written permission

5. Theme Submissions

By submitting a theme to JekyllHub you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the original creator or have explicit rights to distribute the theme
  • The theme does not contain malware, spyware, or deceptive code
  • All preview images and descriptions accurately represent the theme
  • The theme does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights

JekyllHub reserves the right to reject or remove any listing at its sole discretion, without notice or liability.

6. User Conduct

When using JekyllHub you agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Site’s availability or security
  • Use automated tools to scrape the Site without permission
  • Post or transmit any unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent content

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

JekyllHub is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any theme listing or information on the Site.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JekyllHub and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any theme purchased through it.

JekyllHub contains links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. By using JekyllHub, you agree that any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction where JekyllHub operates.
